The method involves calculating a set point of ratio of a detent in a turbine to execute adjustment of boot pressure in an intake manifold (70) of an internal combustion engine (10) by a calculation unit (112). The set point is calculated from a set point of a boot pressure, characteristics of a turbocompressor (60), upstream pressure and temperature of a compressor (62), fuel flow, turbine`s outlet pressure (P4mes), air flow measured by a flow meter and estimation of the temperature in upstream of the turbine. A prepositioning set point of an adjustment component e.g. blade, is calculated. An independent claim is also included for a system for adjusting boot pressure in an intake manifold of a supercharged engine.
