A transmission apparatus for a combine is provided to prevent a low speed input gear from being separated from a low speed output gear by forming a step portion at a spline of an input shaft. An input shaft(50) is rotatably implemented on a transmission case. A driving force is applied on the input shaft through a belt. A change gear is coupled with the input shaft through a spline(51) to be freely moved in left/right directions. Low speed and high speed input gears are formed on the change gear, where a sleeve is formed. Low speed and high speed output gears are formed to selectively correspond to the low speed and high speed input gears. An output gear is mated with a driving gear. A step portion is formed on the spline of the input shaft. When an overload is applied, while the low speed input and output gears are mated with each other, the step portion prevents the low speed input gear from being separated from the low speed output gear.
