An apparatus and a method for shaping a panel are provided to prevent a marginal region of a panel from being warped so as to improve the flatness of the panel. A panel shaping apparatus includes a mold(110) and a gas pressure applying unit(130). The mold shapes a panel(20) which has a marginal region since the panel has a size greater than a standard size. The gas pressure applying unit closely sticks the marginal region of the panel to the mold. The gas pressure applying unit corresponds to a vacuum suction hole formed at the mold in a position corresponding to the marginal region of the panel.
