A system and a method for managing usability are provided to enable an enterprise to improve and discard an application program in an IT(Information Technology) asset management level by collecting/providing application program utilization information of an application system, and offer quantitative information by mapping function points related to an application program when the enterprise makes a system maintenance contract with a function point-based IT service company. An application system includes an application system web server(31) analyzing the utilization information, an application system database server(32) extracting the utilization information, and a server agent interfacing with a utilization management system(10). The utilization management system calculates utilization evaluation information by including a utilization management web server receiving the utilization information, receiving function point information corresponding to a provided function from a function point management server(50), and functioning as a channel integration server capable of processing an information request received from a web browser(60), and a utilization management database server(12). The utilization management system maps the application information and the function point information on a screen provided from a system. |
