A payment method using a stock card is provided to enable a user to pay for purchase easily by using the stock card as a payment tool within a price limit of stocks held by the user, and stabilize payment by supplying insurance money even if loss occurs by change of a stock price. A shop terminal reads a stock card storing stock information(S20). The shop terminal requests a payment approval by receiving a password from a customer of the stock card, and transmitting the password, payment amount information, and information read from the stock card to a card payment server(S22). The card payment server transmits payment approval data to the shop terminal and offsets the payment amount from an account of the stock card(S24). The card payment server permits a stock exchange server to sell stocks corresponding to the offset amount(S26). The card payment server remits the amount of the sold stocks to a financial account appointed by the shop terminal(S28). The card payment server calculates/transmits difference amount information and receives insurance money corresponding to the difference amount information from an insurance company server when a stock price of a buying time point is lower than the stock price of a selling time point.
