A plasma display apparatus is provided to suppress image sticking by supplying a bias signal to a third electrode corresponding to a sustain signal supplied to at least first and second electrodes during a sustain period. A plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel(100) and a driver(110). The plasma display panel includes first and second electrodes which are formed in parallel each other, and third electrodes which are formed to cross with the first and second electrodes. The driver supplies a sustain signal to at least one of the first and second electrodes during a sustain period of an image frame, supplies a bias signal to the third electrodes to correspond to the sustain signal when an APL(Average Power Level) is a first level, and omits the bias signal when the APL is a second level higher than the first level.
