<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a honeycomb body (1) with at least one fleece (2) having metallic fibers (3), at least comprising the following steps: a) producing metallic fibers (3); b) forming a ply (4) with metallic fibers (3); c) welding the metallic fibers (3) to one another; d) shaping the ply (4) to form a fleece (2) with certain fleece properties; e) creating a honeycomb body (1), and; f) hard soldering the honeycomb body (1). A honeycomb body produced in such a manner is suited, in particular, for filtering exhaust gases of a motor vehicle.</p> |
