A system and a method for managing a dietetic therapy through a communication network are provided to share calorie data by each menu with the devices of each restaurant through network to be automatically inputted from a terminal device of a restaurant not from a user so that a user can manage the dietetic therapy effectively. A user admits a dietetic therapy management server as a new member by using a mobile phone(152) through a communication network(130). The mobile phone transmits information of sold food menus and the member to the dietetic therapy management server. The dietetic therapy management server receives the food menu information from the mobile phone in order to calculate consumed calorie data of the member, and creates prescription information concerned with the dietetic therapy by referring the calorie data.
