A method for manufacturing a head of a putter is provided to enable a user to process it easily and to reduce a processing time, and to improve productivity of the putter head. A method for manufacturing a head of a putter comprises the steps of: mixing tungsten carbide powder as a main ingredient with metallic cobalt powder or metallic nickel powder, molybdenum carbide powder, and chromium carbide powder as additive ingredients; screening the mixed powder; granulating the screened powder; compression-molding a standing part(1) and a horizontal part(2) by the mixed powder; presintering the molded material; prototyping the presintered material by a machine tool; finally-sintering the prototyped material; bonding the finally-sintered metallic products by metallic diffusion bonding; and attaching a sweet spot(4) of hard metal to a hole(1b) formed in the molding process. |
