<p>A mobile terminal is provided to display a high quality image on an inner display unit by using an optical modulation projector. An optical source system(51) generates RGB beams and aligns the beam on a single path. An illumination optical system(52) projects the light from the optical source system on a diffraction type optical modulator. The optical modulator(53) generates plural diffraction beams with plural diffraction orders and generates an image using the diffraction beams. A filter(54) passes a diffraction beam with a desired diffraction order. A projection optical system(55) magnifies and projects the diffraction beam, which passes through the filter. A scanner(56) displays the magnified diffraction beam on an inner display unit or scans the diffraction beam on an external screen. An optical path converter(57) includes a reflective surface, which changes an optical path of the diffraction beam propagating toward the inner display unit.</p> |
