A method for preparing a skin lotion from onion is provided to obtain the skin lotion which removes effectively liver spots, freckles, dark spots and fine wrinkles. A method for preparing a skin lotion comprises the steps of: (a) preparing a raw onion; (b) cutting the onion; (c) after putting 2-5 parts by weight of the cut onion into 95-98 parts by weight of a solvent such as soju, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol and butanol, sealing it up; (d) putting the sealed mixture in a refrigerator and ripening it at a temperature of 1-4 deg.C for 40 days; and (e) after filtering the mixture, adding 0.1 wt.% of perfume thereto.
