[PROBLEMS] A vibration actuator that, while maintaining a flat thin shape, produces vibration with a magnitude sufficient to be sensed. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Two magnets are secured to a mover, in the directions in which they repel each other magnetically, and the mover is placed inside a coil of a stator in a housing. When an AC current is applied to the coil, the mover collides with the housing, transmitting vibration to the housing. Thus, the vibration actuator is small in size and produces vibration with a magnitude sufficient to be sensed. ® KIPO & WIPO 2008
