<p>An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to improve the resolution of a sensing unit without increasing the number of sensing elements to achieve an accurate sensing operation, thereby reducing the area of a driver and decrease power consumption. An LCD includes a display panel, a plurality of sensors, a sense signal processor(800) and a touch determination unit(700). The plural sensors are formed in the display panel and output a sense signal according to a touch given to the display panel. The sense signal processor receives the sense signal, processes the received sense signal and generates sense data. The touch determination unit determines the position of the display panel to which the touch is applied from the sense data. Each of the sensors includes first, second and third sensing parts which respectively output first, second and third sense signals. The touch determination unit compares the first, second and third sense signals to determine the position of the display panel to which the touch is applied.</p> |
