<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device that can be operated by an operator in a more reliable manner when recognizing the operator's hand gesture and controlling an apparatus to be controlled based on the recognized hand gesture. <P>SOLUTION: A gesture information display part 4 displays a list of gestures used for operation, the recognized result of a gesture recognition part 2, and an image of a part considered as the operator's hand. The operator can operate while confirming a screen without memorizing the gestures, and the operator's gestures can be corrected so as to be easily recognized by the gesture recognition part 2.
