LUMINOUS FLUORESCENT MATERIAL HAVING IMPROVED WATER RESISTANCE, AND AQUEOUS PAINT OR AQUEOUS COLOR INK USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous fluorescent material useful for an aqueous paint and also for an aqueous color ink by improving its water resistance.

SOLUTION: The luminous fluorescent material is prepared by treating the surface of the base material by a silane compound in a strong acidic water solution without using any alkali solution nor organic solvent. The luminous fluorescent material having an improved water resistance can be used as the aqueous paint and the aqueous color ink because of its excellent aqueous resistance, and has an advantage of expanding range of utilization remarkably because there is no possibility of environment deterioration, fire outbreak, and bad influence to human body.
