<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a printed board when a pitch between press fit contacts is small, in relation to a press fit contact. <P>SOLUTION: This press fit contact comprises: an introduction part introducing the contact into a through-hole; a press fit part comprising expanded parts extended by being bifurcated from the introduction part and pressed in a through-hole of a printed board; a lead-out part extended from the press fit part and fixed to a fixing part of a housing of a connector; and a contact part extended from the lead-out part. In the press fit contact 1, the bifurcated expanded parts 1b of the press fit part 1c is twisted around the longitudinal axis center (c) of the press fit contact so that, in the press fit contacts 1, 1 adjacent to each other and arranged in a single straight line (a), the expansion directions (b) of the expanded parts 1b of them are set in parallel to each other without being located on the single straight line (a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
