PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the same condition to all glass gob when the all glass gob cut from a continuous glass body is charged to a correspondent preform mold. SOLUTION: Each shear blade 6, 7 of each blade pair has its own actuator 8, 9 for moving the shear blade 6, 7 from an initial position into an operating position and back into the initial position. A controller operating the shear blade actuators 8, 9 of the shear blades 6, 7 is provided so that the respective shear blades 6, 7 of the shear blade pair is movable at the same time and the shear blade pair is movable at different times. The shear blade pair for the separated gob 21 that travels the longest distance to the preform mold is actuated first, and the shear blade pair for the separated gob 21 that travels the shortest distance to the preform mold is actuated last, so that all separated gobs 21 are charged in the corresponding preform molds at approximately the same time.
