PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene resin film excellent in heat-resistant dimensional stability or transparency, reduced in fisheye, good in handleability although a lubricant or an antiblocking agent is not substantially contained, and suitable, for example, as the base material film of a protective film, and also to provide the protective film constituted by providing a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on the polypropylene resin film. SOLUTION: The polypropylene resin film is constituted by coating at least one side of a base material layer, which is based on a polypropylene block copolymer resin with an ethylene content of 2.0-12.0 mass%, with a surface layer based on a polypropylene block copolymer resin of which the ethylene content is 3.0-25 mass% higher than that of the ethylene content of the copolymer resin constituting the base material layer, by a lamination method and characterized in that a haze value, the coefficient of static friction and stress at the time of elongation of 5% at 130°C have specific values.
