PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for die casting with which the thickness of a molding can be adjusted in a simple fashion. SOLUTION: The die for die casting is provided with a fixed die 11, a movable die 12 and an adjusting mechanism 13. The movable die 12 engages with the fixed die 11. The adjusting mechanism 13 is arranged between the fixed die 11 and the movable die 12, and adjusts the size of a gap 16 between the fixed die 11 and the movable die 12 to thereby adjust the thickness of the molding 24 to be filled into the gap 16.
