PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for conveying a workpiece for press working device with which the workpiece is conveyed without pulling out guideposts, a stroke for clamping the workpiece is shortened, therefore, the workpiece is conveyed at high speed. SOLUTION: On this apparatus 51 for conveying the workpiece, a pair of conveying bars 101 which are provided by extending in the arraying direction of lower dies 65, 67, 69 and upper dies 83, 85, 87 are provided on both sides across the workpieces 77, 79, 81 in the inside of a pair of the guideposts 95, 97, 99. Holding bodies 109 for holding the pair of the conveying bars 101 while guiding in the state where the bars are movable in the extending direction of these conveying bars 101 are provided, holding body driving parts 117 for driving the holding bodies 109 are provided and conveying/driving parts 121 for driving the pair of the conveying bars 101 along the extending direction of the conveying bars 101 are provided.
