PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control part of an electronic endoscope, allowing an exterior cover of a remote-control switch part to be easily attached/detached, and permitting easily inspection, repair or replacement of remote-control switches in a short period of time. SOLUTION: In the control part of the electronic endoscope, remote-control switches 13 (131-139) for remotely controlling the operation of outside electronic devices 30-32 are disposed near the upper end, and the remote-control switch part exterior cover 14 for covering only the part where the remote-control switches 13 (131-139) are disposed is detachably attached. The control part also has a cover fixing means 23 capable of fixing/unfixing the remote-control switch part exterior cover 14 to/from a control part body frame 15 from the outside.
