摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely detect a hand shake by removing the drift component of an output signal. <P>SOLUTION: The hand shake quantity detection device 30 detects a quantity of hand shake based on an output from a gyro sensor 46. The gyro sensor 46 generates a control pulse of a predetermined cycle from a sensor control part 59. Piezoelectric elements 49 and 50 output signals corresponding to the angular velocity of a housing. An initializing trigger generating circuit 54 outputs an initializing trigger based on the control pulse. A synchronous detection amplifier 55 normally outputs an amplified signal, in which an output signal from each of the piezoelectric elements 49 and 50 is amplified. During the input of the initializing trigger, the amplifier 55 outputs a reference signal. The amplified signal input to a sensor external processing circuit 47 from the synchronous detection amplifier 46 is output via a high pass filter 61.
