PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a predetermined operation based on a plurality of operation items displayed on a display means without need of complex operation.

SOLUTION: This information display device for a vehicle having the display means 11 which displays the information for the vehicle includes: a data memory means 19 which stores data for operation menus having the plurality of operation items; a switch means 4 which selects desired operation items from the plurality of operation items; a display control means 20 which controls so as to display the operation menu having the plurality of operation items in the display means 11 based on the data read from the data memory means 19 corresponding to the operation of the switch means 4; and a guide control means 21 which selects specific operation items having high possibility to be operated from the plurality of operation items displayed in the operation menu based on the preset specific conditions, and guides so as to perform the prescribed operation based on the specific operation items.
