PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication system and data communication method thereof for representing an image not only with expression in which intention of text creation is accurately reflected but also with expression of much higher communication power even when text is created in a way similar to ordinary text creation. SOLUTION: An electronic mail communication system 100 finds out presence/absence and type of a pictorial symbol in electronic mail supplied by a pictorial symbol analysis function section 104a of a server device 104 and supplies a result of the analysis and data obtained from a storage 104c to a signal generation function section 104c and in the signal generation function section 104b, signal processing is performed in accordance with the result of the data analysis to generate a signal of a type different from a text data file. A text data file and the generated signal are also supplied to a terminal device 102b and the terminal device 102b receives the text data file and develops the file to allow the signal to appear in accordance with the indication of text data using an appearance control function section 102f.
