PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio broadcast receiver which can receive radio broadcast and the digital data for traffic information simultaneously without preparing the receiving means, respectively. SOLUTION: When a user selects radio broadcast under such a state as short range wireless communication is established with a portable telephone 7 for radio, a CPU 4 selects the identical radio broadcast selected by the user in a radio tuner 2 and the radio of the portable telephone 7 and then compares the reception sensitivity. The radio broadcast is received by one having high reception sensitivity and outputted from a speaker 9, whereas traffic information data consisting of the digital data are received by the other having low reception sensitivity and displayed at a display section 12.
