PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is difficult for a photographer to simply select the brightness of a screen in accordance with circumstances upon usage of an electronic apparatus and it is necessary to dispose a window for an illuminance sensor additionally in the conventional technique. SOLUTION: In the electronic apparatus which comprises the illuminance sensor, a display screen and a control part which controls the brightness of the display screen in accordance with an output value of the illuminance sensor, a light receiving window of the illuminance sensor is arranged near the center axis of a housing of the electronic apparatus and on the upper part of the display screen. Further, the control part is set to control the brightness of the display screen into a prescribed brightness when the output value of the illuminance sensor is lowered beyond a prescribed fluctuation range.
