PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler 30a capable of adjusting phase difference without changing a width direction dimension. SOLUTION: A guide wall 320 is arranged between an inner surface of an outside piping part 300 and an outer surface of a center piping part 310 and is formed in a spiral shape having an axial line of a center piping part 310 as a center in the muffler 30a. Phase difference occurs based on route length difference between the center piping part 310 and a spiral refrigerant channel 321. Consequently, since acoustic wave passing through the center piping part 310 and acoustic wave passing though the spiral refrigerant channel 321 mutually interferes and cancel, sound power level of the acoustic wave reduces. Route length difference is adjusted by adjustment of piping length of the piping parts 300, 310 or spiral angle, and adjustment of route length of the spiral refrigerant channel 321 is required.
