PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a glass substrate with partition wall using lead-free glass having excellent chemical durability. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the glass substrate with partition wall comprises covering electrodes formed on a glass substrate with a green sheet or a glass paste having a glass ceramic composition comprising 100 parts by mass of a lead-free glass powder containing, by molar percentage based on following oxides, 9-40% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 13-40% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 5-35% ZnO, 4-15% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, and 16-28% Bi<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, with the proviso that the content of ZnO is equal to or lower than (the content of B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>+10 mol%) and 0.1-40 parts by mass of an inorganic oxide powder, then firing the green sheet or the glass paste, and forming the partition wall on the fired green sheet or glass paste by etching.
