PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device capable of easily having the length of a conveying path according to the quantity of the remaining articles by simplifying the control without lowering the efficiency of manufacturing the articles to be conveyed, in which a load applied to a conveyor belt is reduced, and which is simplified in structure and reduced in size. SOLUTION: A first moving member 16 and a second moving member 17 are fitted to the ends of a towing belt 12 applied to a holding pulley 14, respectively. A first movable pulley 18 is fitted to the first moving member 16, and a second movable pulley 19 is fitted to the second moving member 17. An endless conveyor belt 22 is stretched between a first drive pulley 4, a second drive pulley 5, and both movable pulleys 18, 19. When only the first drive pulley 4 is stopped, the first moving member 16 is moved in the direction that both drive pulleys 4, 5 approaches each other, and the forward path length of the conveyor belt 22 is reduced. When only the second drive pulley 5 is stopped, the second moving member 17 is moved in the direction that both drive pulleys 4, 5 approaches each other, and the forward path length of the conveyor belt 22 is increased.
