摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular power unit capable of efficiently reducing in its total length without making a series of transfer gears large in size. SOLUTION: The total length of the power unit 1, which is arranged longitudinally, is shortened by disposing a front differential device 50 at an offset position in the radial direction of a crankshaft 5a on the side of an engine 5 rather than a CVT 30. A pinion shaft 52, which is an input shaft of the front differential device 50, is arranged in a three-dimensional crisscross way against an output shaft 43, and the output shaft 43 is connected with the pinion shaft 52 via the series of transfer gears 53 comprised of a skew involute gear pair. In this way, the pinion shaft 52 can be guided toward the front differential device 50 efficiently avoiding interference with the CVT 30 without making the series of transfer gears 53 large in size.
