PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a display part lower end from being protruded downward lower than an in-vehicle display device bottom surface, and to dispense with the need for forming a space between a display part lower surface and the lower side of an opening for mounting a dashboard in an in-vehicle display device equipped having a display part capable of being opened, closed and tilted. SOLUTION: A movable chassis 10 having a prescribed width is fixed on the rear surface of the display part 9, and a roller 12 is provided at a front perpendicular part of an apparatus body 2 of the in-vehicle display device 1. When the lower end of a perpendicular sliding body 7 movably attached to the movable chassis by a slide base 8 is horizontally pulled backward, the movable chassis is brought into contact with an operation regulating member, and the movable chassis and the display part are obliquely tilted like a lever in such a manner that the lower part is moved backward and simultaneously the upper part is moved forward, and the display part lower end is prevented from being protruded downward lower than the in-vehicle display device bottom surface by turning with a display part front lower end as a virtual fulcrum.
