The present invention relates to the use of mastic, mastic oil or whatever derivative thereof (e.g. mastic scent, mastic oil scent, mastic water etc) as well as to the use of the insoluble or soluble form thereof in water and oil, to other natural or artificial substances, to admixtures, to synthetic substances or to mastic substitutes or derivatives. All the above mentioned mastic substances may be employed as a basic component for the preparation of cream filling for dough products (e.g. croissants, cakes, doughnuts, brioche bread, biscuits) or chocolate products (e.g. bars of chocolates, chocolates, chocolate-coated products etc). According to an alternating embodiment, the mastic cream in question may be spread on bread or toasts and used as syrup for ice creams and pastry. |
