A method, system, resource and admission control unit, which are used in the next generation networks to realize the multicast service. The method includes: the service control unit receives the multicast service request send by the user; and sends the application of establishing the multicast transport route to the resource and admission control unit according to the multicast service request; when the condition of the network permits, the resource and admission control unit establishes the multicast transport route and reserves the resource, and sends the control policy; the transport device replicates the multicast according to the control policy. Accordingly, the invention also provides a system, resource and admission control unit. The invention can realize the multicast service in the next generation networks.
