<p>The method involves performing manual selection of microscopic small, movable object (1) e.g. living protozoa, and marking characteristics of the object based on an output center image. Values of the characteristics to be observed are determined by an algorithm and the object to be observed is classified. Images of the classified object are acquired and image data are utilized either for further image processing or a determination of output variables of the object for controlling a device that is arranged in a microscope for optical adjustment of the microscope. An independent claim is also included for a device for optical tracking of microscopic small, movable objects, in particular protozoa, living cells, which are arranged in a microscope.</p> |
