An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to reduce a delay in a gate signal transmitted along a gate line to decrease the difference between charged voltages at both sides of an LCD panel to thereby improve display picture quality. An LCD includes a plurality of gate lines(122), a plurality of data lines(162), a plurality of thin film transistors, a plurality of pixel electrodes and capacitors for preventing gate signal delay. The plural gate lines are extended in a row direction. The plural data lines are extended in a column direction, insulated from the gate lines and intersect the gate lines. The thin film transistors are connected to the gate lines and the data lines. The pixel electrodes are arranged in a matrix form. A data signal is transmitted to the pixel electrodes according to the thin film transistors. The capacitors are respectively connected to the gate lines in series. |
