<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply device which more uniformly conveys and supplies developer by a traveling wave, and an image forming apparatus which includes the developer supply device, whereby the occurrence of density unevenness is effectively suppressed and an excellent image is formed. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a toner electric field conveying body 132 configured to convey toner T in a toner conveying direction TTD by traveling-wave electric field is housed in a developing casing 131 constituting the casing of a developing device 130. The toner T is stored in the developing casing 131. The developing casing 131 includes a casing bottom board 131b configured to restrain the passage of the toner T and also having permeability.
