<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix display device capable of evaluating the output of a drive circuit, and to provide a drive control method of the active matrix display device. <P>SOLUTION: The drive control method of the active matrix display device in which a plurality of pixel circuits having thin film transistors for controlling light emission of EL elements and capacities provided in gates of the thin film transistors are arranged into a matrix form comprises: a process of correcting video signal voltages input to current signal generation circuits, configured by using the thin film transistors; a process of inputting the corrected video signal voltage to a plurality of current signal generating circuits, converting the same into current signals; a process of inputting the converted current signals to the pixel circuits; a process of retaining voltages corresponding to the input current signals in the capacities; and a process of making the EL element emit light in accordance with the current signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
