<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a metallic porous body electrode used for a fuel cell or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the metallic porous body electrode, after a conductive metal made of any one kind of Ag, Au, and Cu is plated on the surface of metal powders, the plated metal powders are sintered. Thereby, the conductive metal is preferentially fusion bonded on a point contact part between spherical or flat metal powders to form porous bodies superior in conductivity and uniformity.
