<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument for showing a content which is set regarding a musical tone so as to be easily seen. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic musical instrument comprises: output devices 5 and 22 for showing the content which is set regarding the musical tone generated by the electronic musical instrument 1 which is emitting light; and a music rack sensor 31 for detecting whether or not, a music rack 3 is attached to an electronic musical instrument main body 2. The output devices 5 and 12 emit light so that a maximum value of a light amount when the music rack 3 is attached, may be different from a maximum value of a light amount when the music rack 3 is not attached.
