<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel that can easily respond to requests of users for reflective display. <P>SOLUTION: A resist film 130 on a first substrate 100 has a concave-convex surface portion 130b for reflective display in a reflective region 80 on the surface in a second substrate 200 side. The concave-convex surface portion 130b has separated regions with different inclination angle distributions. For example, a first region 81 in the concave-convex surface portion 130b has an inclination angle distribution giving a high reflectance, while a second region 82 in the concave-convex surface portion 130b has an inclination angle distribution giving a high contrast. The difference in the inclination angle distributions can be obtained by varying the thickness of the resist film 130 or patterns of an exposure mask in the regions 81, 82. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
