摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a projector capable of suppressing reduction of polarization characteristics of a polarizing plate caused by breakage of a polarization layer or generation of warpage of the polarization layer. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the projector provided with liquid crystal devices, incident side polarizing plates, liquid crystal device side light transmissible members and opposite side light transmissible members which are stuck to both surfaces of the incident side polarizing plates, emission side polarizing plates, and liquid crystal device side light transmissible members and opposite side light transmissible members which are stuck to both surfaces of the emission side polarizing plates includes a first application step for applying a binder on one side surfaces of the polarizing plates, a first sticking step for sticking the liquid crystal device side light transmissible members to the polarizing plates, a second application step for applying an adhesive on the other side surfaces of the polarizing plates and a second sticking step for sticking the opposite side light transmissible members to the polarizing plates in this order. A heat treatment step for performing heat treatment at a prescribed temperature to the polarizing plates subjected to uniaxial stretching treatment is further included before at least the second sticking step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
