<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment that can be miniaturized and can improve detection capability in a sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1 has: a substrate 27 for display; a connector 67 arranged on the substrate 27 for display; a reinforcing frame 31 arranged on a surface opposite to the casing opening 2h on the substrate 27 for display so that the connector 67 is covered; a sensor substrate 39 arranged on a surface opposite to the casing opening 2h in the reinforcing frame 31; and a touch sensor electrode 47 that is provided on a surface opposite to the casing opening 2h on the sensor substrate 39 and allows electrostatic capacity to change following the approach or separation of a finger from the side of the casing opening 2h. The reinforcing frame 31 has a plate section 31a that opposes the substrate 27 for display and has a surface separated from the substrate 27 for display by not less than the thickness of an electronic component and a surface in contact with the sensor substrate 39. On the surface in contact with the sensor substrate 39 at the plane section 31a, a recess 31d is formed in a region overlapping with the touch sensor electrode 47 and the electronic component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
