<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick-type ignition coil for securing an insulating distance sufficient for preventing the leakage from a high-voltage terminal to a plug hole. <P>SOLUTION: An ignition coil 1 is provided with a plug-fitted portion 12 at the end part on the high-voltage side D1 of a coil body portion 11. The plug-fitted portion 12 has a plug cap 51 made of rubber attached to a cylindrical cap attachment portion 212. In an engagement hole 511 in the plug cap 51, a high-voltage terminal 52 and a coil spring 53 are arranged. The plug cap 51 has a cylindrical outer peripheral fitting part 513 fitted around the outer periphery of the cap attachment portion 212. In the cap attachment portion 212, an annular space 214 communicating with a gap in a coil case is formed. In the annular space 214, a resin 15 for filling is filled. The high-voltage side end part 215 in the annular space 214 is located closer to the high voltage side D1 than the low-voltage side end part 515 in the outer peripheral fitting part 513. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
