PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle which restricts a vehicle width and keeps the minimum the influence of heat that is transmitted from a muffler to a vehicle speed sensor. SOLUTION: A motorcycle 10 comprises: a muffler 47 arranged at the side of a swing arm 26 and moved up and down together with this swing arm 26; a center rotor 84 arranged at a rear wheel 28 and rotated together with this rear wheel 28; and a vehicle speed sensor 83 arranged at the swing arm 26 to detect a wheel speed in cooperation with the center rotor 84. The swing arm 26 is provided with a cavity part 86 at a location where it is not overlapped with the muffler 47 when the vehicle is viewed from its side surface, the cavity part 86 is provided with the vehicle speed sensor 83, and a cover member 89 is also provided which covers this cavity part 86.
