PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna capable of preventing a base station and a mobile station from decreasing in reception level and maintaining an excellent communication state. SOLUTION: The array antenna is connected to the base station, and has a phase/amplitude control unit 13 which controls at least one of the phase and amplitude of an array 20 to direct a main beam in a predetermined direction, and reciprocates the main beam at right angles to the surface of the ground where the base station is installed to reciprocate a null point at right angles to the surface of the ground where the base station is installed.
