PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to control a writing period for a silicon disk and secure the life of the silicon disk over a warranty period for an industrial instrument, in a computer connected with a storage such as the silicon disk limited in writing frequency. SOLUTION: In this access control method, a silicon disk access program 102 receives a request for writing into the silicon disk 103 from a program operated on the computer, and accumulates a writing destination address for the request for writing and writing data in a buffer 105 secured in a memory 104, and at periods set by the user using a writing period setting program 109, the silicon access program 102 writes the data accumulated in the buffer 105 to the silicon disk 103.
