PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor capable of easily detecting torque while reducing the cost required for manufacturing. SOLUTION: The torque sensor comprises an input shaft 11 having an input gear 11b, an output shaft 12 that is connected with the input shaft 11 and has an output gear 12b, a first pinion gear 14 for meshing with the input gear 11b, a second pinion gear 15 for meshing with the output gear 12b, and a helical gear 16 extending from the second pinion gear 15. The first pinion gear 14 is mounted to the helical gear 16 and slid according to the difference of rotation angle between the input shaft 11 and output shaft 12, and the rotation torque applied to the input shaft 11 and output shaft 12 is detected according to the moving amount of the first pinion gear 14.
