PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sense of depth and a gradation effect without a member to which gradations having different transmittances are applied. SOLUTION: A display panel 3 has a flared three-dimensional shape, and a base part 3a of the display panel 3 is covered with a shielding part 7. A center part of the display panel 3 is provided with a photoconductive member 16, and a first group of a plurality of LEDs 5 are provided between the photoconductive member 16 and the base part 3a of the display panel 3. The first group of LEDs 5 are constituted of blue LEDs 5a and purple LEDs 5b. The shielding part 7 is provided for a tip of the photoconductive member 16, and the base part 3a of the display panel 3 is covered with the shielding part 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
