PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain inorganic fine particles of nanometer order level, excellent in dispersibility in a resin, and provide a resin composite having high elastic modulus and a low linear expansion coefficient. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a resin and an inorganic material which comprises alumina and glass fiber. As methods for producing the resin composition, a method (method A) for producing the resin composition by dissolving a resin mixture containing alumina particles and a resin mixture containing glass fiber in a solvent in which the resin is soluble, subsequently distilling the solvent off and a method (method B) for producing the resin composition by mixing the resin mixture containing the alumina particles with the glass fiber or the resin mixture containing the glass fiber at a temperature at which the resin is in a molten state are cited.
