PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor belt not causing damage, retention and hooking of an article to be conveyed by securing a belt base member to a support member while keeping flat the surface of the belt. SOLUTION: This conveyor belt 15 comprises a belt base member 14 having spirals 1 formed by processing a wire member and rods 2 connecting the spirals 1 to each other, conveyor chains 7 positioned at both ends of the belt base member and conveying the belt base member 14, and a support member 5 suspended between the chains 7 at both ends, supporting the load applied to the belt base member 14, and transmitting the power of the conveyor chains 7 to the belt base member 14. A link spiral 3 the portion of which positioned on the conveying surface side is larger than that of the other peripheral spiral 1 is assembled in the conveyor belt. A link rod 4 is inserted into the link space formed at the rear of the belt base member 14. A part of the belt base member 14 is used as the fastening member 6 for fastening the support member 5 to the belt base member 14 by engaging with the link rod 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
